Watch Back: Kubernetes Day Two

Kubernetes is one of the most interesting, misunderstood and divisive topics in tech. Hosting our third webinar on the topic, we know just how much people aren’t aware, how much scepticism is present, and just how powerful and useful K8s can be when adopted properly, run efficiently and fully bought in to.

Having covered many of those initial concerns in our two events with Magic Sandbox, we wanted to look further down the road with our next webinar - which is where Garden came in, and how Kubernetes Day Two was born. What exactly should be prioritised, considered and proactively put in place once a business has adopted and taken on board Kubernetes?

Thanks to our amazing expert panel that included Garden.io founder and CEO Jon Edvald, Mislav Stipetic of Magic Sandbox and Mauricio Salatino at Camunda, we were able to have a full, frank discussion about the reality of life with Kubernetes - highlighting both the possibilities embracing it can create, and the work required to put yourself in the position to get the most from those.

For those who weren’t able to come along, we’re delighted to be able to share the full event on YouTube, to be watched back at your convenience. A really interesting, insightful talk, if there’s anything more you wish to know, please feel free to get in touch using my contact details attached below and I’ll be more than happy to facilitate one of our panel getting an answer back to you.

We are currently in the process of turning the advice given in to a visual one-page asset, so that people can easily refer back to the most important points made, so as to constantly reinforce best practice and ensure that for those interested and invested, Kubernetes is made as easy as possible.

DevOps Berlin is open to collaboration, be it webinars or guest blogs, and we’d love to give a platform to worthwhile knowledge and information being shared. Community is at the heart of all that we do, and we know from experience how well our events and webinars resonate within our sector. That said, keep your eyes peeled for more to come from us going forward.
