You will work as part of a 2-person team supporting a larger 10 person agile squad to help work towards decentralized network neutrality. The Ethereum network is set to revolutionise how code and business logic is stored and smart contracts are authenticated across the Blockchain. The JavaScript team are responsible for taking what the larger team build and making it more accessible to the wider technical community, as Ethereum continues to adopt more users.

 

The organisation currently stands at 30 people, working in a modern, extremely agile way with a flat hierarchy. You will contribute to the open source community and ensure that as Ethereum continues to scale, latency does not stand in its way.

 

They are a team of world class engineers, who work extremely closely. Every day presents new challenges, where as a team new way of engineering are found to get closer to the organisations goals. You do not need prior experience of Blockchain but must have a passion for learning new technology and see the benefits it can bring to the world.

 

·      You will be an expert JavaScript engineer. Working with ES6 or Typescript and modern frameworks such at Vue, React, Angular and Node.

·      An advocate of TDD.

·      You are a big fan of github! Everything is checked in and tracked here.

·      A contributor to the open source community.

·      A real team player. Challenges of this magnitude are not solved alone!

 

The organisation will have full support and training on anything you do not already know. Regularly support the team by attending conferences around the world and company treats which to date have been held in Japan, Mexico and the Philippines. They also have a company apartment in central Berlin readily available for anyone not local to Berlin but want to join the team in solving these exciting challenges.
