Lead DevOps Engineer required with solid background in AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD builds with programming experience (JVM/Java/Kotlin/Typescript/Golang etc) in central London (hybrid 2 days per week)

We are currently building a team of DevOps Engineers for a brand-new product getting built by the UK arm of a highly coveted Fintech. They are building out a product specifically for the UK market which is still getting developed and will be released later in the year, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and scalability of this system upon release.

 

The Lead DevOps Engineer will establish best practices and ways of working and you will have a huge impact on shaping the company's DevOps function moving forward.

 

Their product is responsible for processing a significant amount of payments across Europe across multiple industries including F/X, trading, SEPA/BACS and Crypto

 

Skills and experience needed:

  • Expert AWS experience
  • Experience in at least one programming language (Kotlin/Typescript would be perfect, other JVM's ideal)
  • Building CI/CD pipelines
  • Working with Terraform and Kubernetes
  • Proven experience leading technical teams and projects, include complete ownership
  • Experience linking devops with wider infrastructure and tech strategy
