You will be working on a major tech transformation helping guide the Agile teams from a DevOps perspective. The systems have over 1.3 million users and hence there is a huge emphasis on availability and scalability.
You will be responsible for leading DevOps from a technical point of view, initially there won’t be line management it’s more mentoring and guiding other members within the organisation. They’re happy to take someone stepping up from a Senior level.
Your ideas will be heard in this organisation and you will have a direct impact on the future of DevOps. You will get regular feedback on how you are performing, how you can improve and move to the next level. There will be huge opportunities to learn more than just on the job with resources available for AWS certs etc.
They are happy to take someone who would like to grow into the role. They are fully remote with travel to an office needed once a quarter at the most, they have offices throughout the UK so you can travel to the closest one. The car allowance is part of the historic benefits package and it doesn’t represent you will be travelling.
