Lead Developer to lead a number of interesting technical projects while also leading a team of highly capable developers / devops engineers / testers. Ideally you are someone who can lead a team, someone who will be hands on with development with team leadership skills.

They are building core systems in personal finance while pioneering sustainability with the vision to become one of the most trusted financial services brands in the UK and Europe.

As the Lead Developer you will guide the delivery of development, ensuring a consistent and innovative approach is used and that project milestones are completed to expectations. You will be responsible to lead a team of developers who work on a pivotal project that enhances our risk systems and provide services to the credit decisioning front-end interface. You will be reporting into the Engineering Manager.

Requirements:

• Expert Java software engineering experience
• Ideally full stack (React/Typescript)
• Cloud (AWS) experience
• Modern tech stack / ways of working with DevOps / CI/CD essential 
• Experience leading or mentoring a team (an existing team leader or a senior ready to make the step up)

Base salary £75-84k plus 5ks car, 20% bonus, 10% pension = £100-110k package.  A leading package in the Leeds market.
