We are the sole talent partner working with a Swedish start-up who offer a low-ego environment where you get to work alongside a collaborative, curious team of engineers.

This role is a Hybrid work model, and you would need to be in/ close to Gothenburg.

Underpinned by leading technology and a focus on the customer, we are hiring 2 x Engineers for the foundational team and looking for OOP skilled engineers who have worked in a start-up to join them.

You would ideally have a deep understanding of implementation cycles with a software product. There is also be a chance for one of these 2 hires to step into a lead role very early on in your tenure if that interests you.  

What you would be doing:

• Working as a Senior Full-Stack Engineer with a focus on the back-end.
• Guiding juniors.
• Working on improvement of the code-base to drive the team and product forward.
• You will be influencing key decisions for their team and platform.
• You will have a say in the roadmap for developing, executing, and maturing the platform and the team.

What they need:

• Someone who has worked in a start-up/ fast paced environment where customer needs are ever changing.
• Someone who is at a senior level (5 – 8 years as a developer).
• Someone who has built things from scratch.
• Someone who is comfortable in a small business (70 people in total) where things are changing (platform related.)

Technical skills that are needed:

• Golang/ Java – on the backend (OOP)
• JavaScript Technologies such as React/ Typescript/ Node.js/ Vanilla.js etc
• If you have worked with TDD approach that is highly desirable
• AWS

It’s a bonus if you:

• Have founded or been employed in a product start-up previously.
• Have Docker/Kubernetes knowledge.
• Have CI / CD experience (ideally with GitLab).
• Are fluent in Swedish or/and German.
